The Nassau County Police Department has issued an alert for a man who is wanted for allegedly damaging another person’s property.
Gavin Jackson, 35, is wanted by police on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief after he damaged property that was valued at more than $250. Jackson had been released and ordered to appear in court, but he failed to show up and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Nassau County Police investigators described Jackson as a 5-foot-6 African American weighing approximately 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police noted that anyone who recognizes Jackson or who spots him should not attempt to apprehend or detain him.
